Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. [6] He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India, Pichai graduated at IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. After moving to the United States, he attained an M.S. He graduated with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also obtained an MBA from Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. There, he was responsible for the development of Google Drive as well as product management and development. In addition Pichai went on to supervise the development of additional applications such as Gmail and Google Maps. In 2010, Pichai also made public the open-sourcing announcement of the new video codec called VP8 from Google and unveiled the new video format, WebM. 2012 saw the introduction of Chromebook. Pichai further added Android to the Google products he was managing in 2013.
