Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (born January 10, 1980), known professionally as Sarah Shahi is an American model and actress. She played Carmen on The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) as well as Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). 2 She was part of the main Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as a well as in Alias in a supporting role. In the year 2018, she appeared in the series Reverie. She was a regular character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. Then, she was invited by Altman to move to Hollywood and was offered roles on Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales the supporting character of The L Word. She joined the show in its second season. Shahi's two-year contract was not renewed after the end of the fourth season and her character was rewritten.
