Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was an incredibly known American actor. Best known for her role in the role of Kitty Russell in the TV series "Gunsmoke", Kitty Russell from the TV series "Gunsmoke" but she was also an incredibly popular American actor. Additionally, she was known for being a part of television shows such as  such as 'The Red Skelton Show', 'Tattletales' and 'The Edge of Night'. She also acted in dozens of movies, including 'Stars in My Crown' 'Duchess Idaho and 'Cattle Town and 'Miss Robin Crusoe'as well as 'About Mrs. Leslie and 'The Adventures Of Hajji Baba', 'High Society' and 'The Boom'. Blake She was an operator of telephones by trade she was an animal lover. With partner Frank Gilbert, was one of the first humans to successfully breed cheetahs in captivity. She was one of co-founders together with husband Frank Gilbert of the Arizona Animal Welfare League. Blake was a former director of the Humane Society of the United States. Blake received numerous honors and was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
