Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most well-known work is her character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also directed, produced and starred in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham, Alabama on 8 January 1977. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is an artist of distinction. The father of her is Jewish and her mother was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up at an Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson's career continues to grow after the conclusion of Buffy. She appeared in films such as The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Her creative talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). Buffy, after spending an effort and time to locate them, states there are around 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 working for the Scooby Gang.
