Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old and was accompanied by family members. Ana Maria Polo, a native of Habana Cuba is host of the well-known show on Telemundo called "CasoThe first Spanish program to be recognized with an Emmy nomination for the daytime entertainment category. The program was ranked in 2015 as the #1 television show in Spanish for the 4 pm time slot across all categories. Polo, born on April 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba and graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. After that, she received the PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for 20 years within the City of Miami. Thereafter, she obtained her PhD in Law from the University of Miami. Polo appeared for the first time on Telemundo Sala de Parejas in 2001. Some other shows on the court also featured her expert legal advice. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958 she published the novel Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. Polo was a breast cancer survivor who regularly raises funds for the causes and gives speeches at parties. Over the course of her career, she has fought for LGBT equality. She graduated in 1987 from law school at the University of Miami School of Law as well as a Florida Bar member.
