Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and performer famous for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and was raised at Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl is from the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. She was a lot of her youth caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. While growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mother. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became close to Her. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from the college. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV job in the year 1992, having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She appeared in the show Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. In 2011, she began participating in The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series like Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
